This hammock is 100% organic cotton, grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides and defoliants.

The absence of artificial fertilizers and harsh pesticides protects our precious soils. Together with the alternating cultivation of organic cotton and other plants – also known as crop rotation – thisapproach contributes to the higher storage capacity of the soil and to comparatively low water consumption. Energy consumption is also significantly lower than in the production of conventional cotton.

Certification by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) ensures compliance with strict environmental criteria. Starting with the cultivation of organic cotton, the ecological requirements extend along the entire value chain. Throughout the production process, our partner Fatelares has established environmentally friendly methods – namely a special system for wastewater treatment, among other things.

Climate protection is an essential part of our sustainability strategy. Therefore, we continuously strive to reduce our CO₂ emissions. For the emissions we cannot avoid, we take responsibility by supporting a recognized climate protection project. Our partnership with ClimatePartner enables us to have both our hammock chairs and hammocks from Colombia, as well as our company, certified according to the highest climate protection standards.

For hanging your hammock chair, our stand Udine is an excellent choice. Simply hook Cumbia into the suspension on both sides to lean back and relax.

The stand is extra space-saving and, thanks to its light weight, can be easily moved, allowing you to switch between sun and shade, for example.

If you prefer to hang it from a ceiling, beam, or branch, you can also use one of our 2-point suspension systems, TreeMount or CasaMount.

If you plan to use our stand Udine for hanging your hammock chair, you should allocate a space of approximately 110 cm x 110 cm and a height of 163 cm. Also, ensure a minimum clearance of 75 cm from walls, furniture, and surrounding objects.

When installing your hammock chair with the TreeMount 2rope or CasaMount 2rope suspension set, the distance between the two suspension points (X) depends on their height (Y). For a height of 2 m, we recommend a distance of approximately 1.20 m. For every additional half meter of height, you can add 20 cm to this distance. For example, at a height of 3 m, the distance would be approximately 1.60 m. 

Additionally, ensure enough distance from the surroundings to swing freely. A comfortable seating height is achieved with about 30 cm between the hammock chair and the floor.

Cumbia offers you plenty of space for relaxed sitting and lying down – letting you decide  what is most comfortable for you.

You can easily wash your hammock chair in a gentle cycle at 30 degrees. Before washing, tie the suspension cords together to prevent tangling, and then air dry afterward.
