Our strategy for sustainability naturally includes the issue of climate protection. We are continuously working to reduce our CO₂ emissions and offset unavoidable emissions via a climate protection project. In addition to the CO₂ emissions for the production and transport of our Colombian hammocks and hammock chairs, we also offset the emissions generated by our office and warehouse locations in Germany and the USA.

If you plan to use Udine outdoors, make sure the ground is level and not too damp to prevent unwanted wobbling or  sinking. Since the stand can be easily moved, you can switch between sunny and shaded corners in your outdoor area as you relax.

For Udine, you should plan for an area of approximately 110 cm x 110 cm and a height of 163 cm. Also, ensure a minimum clearance of 75 cm from the surroundings.

The chair fabric provides plenty of space for relaxed sitting and lying – you decide what is most comfortable for you.

For outdoor use in the garden, we recommend disassembling the stand after the hammock season is over,  and storing it in a dry room. Before reassembling in the spring, treat the wooden parts with an outdoor hard wax oil.

If needed, you can wash the seat part in a gentle cycle at 30 degrees. Before washing, tie the suspension cords together to prevent tangling, and then air dry afterward.
